How to enter
- Get your submission form from one of the following options:
- Inside the Iowa State Fair Red Ribbon Guide in the Des Moines Sunday Register on Aug. 7.
- Download form from this site.
- Pick one up from our first floor office in Capital Square – 400 Locust Street Des Moines, IA 50309. Office is open 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday-Friday.
- Pick one up inside the Horner Service Center sponsored by The Des Moines, located next to the Administration Building on the fairgrounds during the fair. Building is open 9 a.m. - 6 p.m.
- Submit your completed form. Submissions are accepted in the following ways:
- Upload to this site (DesMoinesRegister.com/WhereAtTheFair)
- At our first floor office in Capital Square – 400 Locust Street Des Moines, IA 50309. Office is open 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday-Friday.
- Inside the Horner Service Center sponsored by The Des Moines Register, located next to the Administration Building on the fairgrounds during the fair. Building is open 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. Aug. 11-21, 2016.
Entry deadlines
- In person at the Iowa State Fair: Completed entry forms will be accepted at the Horner Service Center sponsored by The Des Moines Register until 5 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 21.
- In person at The Des Moines Register: Completed entry forms will be accepted at the Register's reception desk on the ground floor of Capital Square, 400 Locust St., Des Moines, IA, 50309 until 5 p.m. Friday, Aug. 19
- Online: Uploaded entry forms will be accepted at DesMoinesRegister.com/WhereAtTheFair until 12:01 a.m. Monday, Aug. 22.
