Send in your submissions:
Submit a video of a soloist or duet singing The Star Spangled Banner a capella by clicking the submission tab. Videos should be less than three minutes.
Come back to vote once per day from July 23 to Aug. 4
The singer(s) of the video that receives the most votes will sing the national anthem at the opening ceremonies on the first day of the fair, August 13. The winner will also receive two admission tickets and two grandstand tickets to a Grandstand show of his or her choice.
Ten other winners will receive the privilege of singing the Star-Spangled Banner on one day of the Iowa State Fair, August 14-23, 2015 and two admission tickets.
