Like taking photos? How about with a new, $1,500+ camera? Downtown photo studio IKONIX is giving one lucky central Iowa photog a brand spankin’ new camera in our first-ever photo contest. And this is no mere point-and-shoot, friends.
Who is IKONIX?
IKONIX is a professional equipment and rental studio founded by photographer Tom Woolery. The studio, located at 506 Third St., Suite 206, is home to a group of photographers and creatives that collaborate on photography projects (weddings, senior photos, commercial and event photos, etc).
1. Upload one photo by March 8 that best captures how you personally see and experience central Iowa.
2. Beginning March 10, readers will vote here for five finalists from the pool of submitted photos. Once the five finalists are chosen, the IKONIX “Studio Challenge” in April will determine the winner.
3. Each finalist will be given a theme, an assistant, and two hours in the IKONIX studio. The winner will be chosen by a panel of professional photographers.
Your choice of a Canon 7D body, or a Nikon D300 body.
